This is such a lovely shot. I've spent a pleasant time looking through your photos and admire many of them. I'm very familiar with Southern California, but am having a hard time placing La Quinta on my mental map. Where are you in relation to say, San Berdu, Palm Springs, Desert Center, Indio, Mt. San Gregorio, Mt. Big Bear, Mt. San Jacinto? The whole desert area out beyond Riverside seems to have become populated with new towns since I left SoCal in the 80s. -Kim
